Lucky Dough Pizza absolutely lives up to the hype when it comes to the food. We were greeted and seated quickly, and the manager took the time to explain their sourdough process and how each pizza is made. They let us know that every pizza is made to order, so there would be a bit of a wait, but it was a wait that was completely worth it. We ordered the Queen Margot and a Pepperoni pizza, and both were outstanding. The crust was incredible, the ingredients tasted fresh, and every bite reminded us why quality takes time. Jessica, our waitress, was fantastic from start to finish, and the team making the pizzas couldn’t have been friendlier, thanking everyone for their patience and saying they looked forward to seeing us again. Unfortunately, our experience took an uncomfortable turn. We were initially seated at a small table, which made perfect sense since there were only two of us. However, the sun reflecting off the white wall was blinding, so I asked Jessica if we could move. She kindly relocated us to one of the covered picnic tables. What happened next was disappointing. Never in my life have I had such wonderful pizza. The caprese salad was perfect. Not the usual caprese- better- delectable. Charlotte was so helpful and gave great recommendations. Tonight we ordered the “ Eat Your Vegetables Pizza” delicious. The organic garlic made it even better. We’re bringing everyone we know here. You should too!

Excellent pizza, excellent service, and great atmosphere. Be sure to make a reservation on Open Table or you may not get a seat. Also, be prepared to wait for your pizza. They are still new and only working with 2 ovens at the moment so try to cut them some slack. Definitely worth it. We’ll be back!

The pizza was superb and everything else on the menu was incredibly delicious!! I love that everything is either organic & local or shipped from Italy. You can taste the quality and intentionality in every bite. My family and I drove all the way from Freeport and it was worth every mile. We cannot wait to come back!! The heatwave pizza was a favorite.

My husband brought this pizza home tonight. We have lived here for 3 years from Texas. We have search high & low for this specific pizza. It's not your ordinary "pizza" it's wood fired pizza with fresh ingredients. It is Parma Pizza it's the most expensive one. This wood fired pizza is so delicious. Three years! We have driven by it a hundred times and Michael would talk about it & say we need to try it and he said it's take out only. I just kinda shrugged about it. I'm just upset we didn't try it sooner. In Texas there was a restaurant we loved that served us olives like these with a variety of flavors (citrus peel) in it. It was fantastic. Just saying don't judge a book by its cover.
